ORR Protection's Response to COVID-19

To Our Valued Customers and Partners,

ORR Corporation, like all businesses in America today, finds itself in somewhat uncharted waters as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. But there are many ways that ORR Protection isn’t like other businesses. The work we do at ORR is critical to many of the largest companies in America, which means our people are part of the solution to the current global dilemma. And at ORR, it’s our people who make us great. That’s no different in 2020 than it has been for the past seven decades.

This is a perfect time to focus of what ORR Protection is doing in response to the coronavirus and shine a light on some of our associates who are helping us navigate through these unprecedented times.

First and foremost, we want to stress that ORR Protection is still running at full strength. Our mission is Protecting People, Property and the Environment, so by our very nature the safety of our customers and associates is our greatest concern. Here are a few ways ORR Protection is taking active steps to look out for the safety of our families, associates and customers:

• We are following CDC recommendations. Where possible, our associates are working from home so they can heed the guidelines set forth by their state and local governments. For those whose jobs require them to come into the office, we are following CDC guidelines and even providing separate entries and exits as well as amenities for different departments. In-person meetings are not taking place, social distancing is being practiced, and all non-essential travel has been halted.

• Sanitation and hygiene practices are in place. Although we already had strict personal safety protocols in place that included sanitary practices, we have increased those efforts and are cleaning and sanitizing all our facilities with more frequency. We’re also ensuring ORR Associates who are still reporting to a distribution center or customer facility are adhering to the CDC guidelines regarding hygiene.

We can adapt to any situation.

Adapting is just what we’re doing and will continue to do until this pandemic is over. Extraordinary times result in extraordinary stories of hard work, creativity and ingenuity.
